  • S8A is a New York City–based, full-service architecture and design firm founded by Tana Nesbitt-Hayes. Through collaborative partnership, S T U D I O 8 Architect untangles complex constraints and site conditions to create personalized, long-lasting spaces that feel good to live in. Guided by process rather than auteur sensibility, S T U D I O 8 Architect privileges materiality, lived experience, and clarity over quick fixes and surface aesthetics. The studio focuses on residential renovations and new builds, hospitality and commercial adaptive reuse.

  • Tana Nesbitt-Hayes is the founder of S T U D I O 8 Architect. Through her formal training in architecture and interior design, and hands-on experience in construction management, Tana has honed a collaborative, detail- and process-oriented approach. Practicing for over two decades, Tana trained in the offices of Richard Geary, René Gonzalez, and Chad Oppenheim. Based in New York City, but taking on projects nationally, Tana’s work focuses on residential, hospitality and commercial projects.
